SiteSaviour

Privacy policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

This policy explains how SiteSaviour processes information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses the app.

Information we process

Information we do not collect for monitoring

SiteSaviour does not need customer names, addresses, order details, payment information, or passwords. It does not place test orders, edit themes, sell personal information, or use merchant data for advertising.

How information is used

Information is used only to check merchant-selected public storefront pages, establish healthy baselines, detect availability or display problems, group incidents, explain likely causes, send enabled alerts, and maintain service security.

Service providers

Shopify provides merchant authentication and authorized store context. Application and database infrastructure may be hosted by Render. If email alerts are enabled, Resend processes the destination address and alert content. We do not sell merchant data.

Security and retention

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and each record is isolated by Shopify store. Access sessions are removed after uninstall. Store records are deleted when Shopify sends its required shop-redaction request, except where retention is required by law or to resolve a security incident.

Your choices

Merchants can pause monitors, mute alerts, change notification settings, or uninstall SiteSaviour from Shopify Admin. For an access, correction, or deletion request, contact support. We may need to verify the requesting store.
